Chad Vincent

In Chad Vincent’s words, “The High Country is so much more than just another mountain resort area. Chad grew up immersed in real estate and development and earned his license at just 19 while attending UNC-Chapel Hill. After graduating in 2002 with dual degrees, he returned to the mountains and joined the family business at Vincent Properties.

Today, Chad serves as Broker-in-Charge and is a leading member of Team Vincent, working alongside his father, Jay Vincent, and real estate partner Melissa Boone. His reputation for professionalism, insight, and excellence has led to some of the most significant transactions in North Carolina’s history—including the sale of the most expensive residential estate ever sold in the state in 2024, as well as the iconic Westglow Resort & Spa. Team Vincent consistently ranks in the top 3 in the state and top 25 in the nation for production under the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices franchise.

Chad has been a dedicated leader in the real estate community, serving on the Grievance & Professional Standards Committee since 2006, as a local director since 2012, and as President of the High Country Association of REALTORS® in 2018. He and his team have earned the community’s trust and recognition, having been voted Watauga County’s BEST Realtor® in 2014, 2019, and 2020.

In the rare moments Chad steps away from work, you’ll find him with his wife, Tomie, their children Clara June, Calvin, and Wells, along with their loyal Shiloh Shepherd, Finn—better known as “The Wolf” (Finn even has his own feature in the Vincent Properties newsletter, “Fun with Finn”, highlighting local events and adventures). Whether it’s hiking scenic tracts of land or simply driving to work everyday on the Blue Ridge Parkway, Chad values time spent in the beauty of the High Country.
