Born in D.C., and raised in Md., Nate moved to Blowing Rock shortly after completing his degree in Psychology from the Univ. of Md. By returning to this area, he has come "full circle", you might say, since this is the town his family helped create, and the town that helped create him. His mom and dad met in the park less than 100 yards from our front door.

Before moving to North Carolina, Nate had already developed an interest in real estate. He held a Md. Real Estate license, worked in roofing and siding sales, and was actively learning about residential rentals from the dozen, or so, properties his dad owned around the Metro., D.C. area. Arriving in Watagua Co., he quickly immersed himself in other aspects of real estate - surveying, residential and commercial construction, and, most recently, a broker's license in real estate.

He brings a deeply rooted passion for this area to our office. . selling the same land he roamed as a kid visiting his grandparents, running Moses Cone trails that once belonged to his great-grandparents, and, in general, enjoying the incredible country and people we are blessed to have in the High Country. Additionally, he feels a certain accountability for maintaining the integrity of this historic area and it's surrounding land.
