Sarah is a native of Knoxville, Tennessee. Born an outdoor, nature-lover , Sarah knew the high Country was the place for her after a brief visit as a child. So in 1997 she moved to Boone to attend Appalachian State University. She received her degree in Theatre Education and Communications. She met her husband, Matt Long, a Boone native and general contractor in a “communications class”. Sarah moved to Charlotte to teach soon after graduation. After 5 years of teaching they were finally given the opportunity to move back to the place they love. They feel very blessed to live and work in one of the most peaceful, beautiful places on earth. Sarah stays involved in the theatre by teaching after school theatre classes as well as performing at the Blowing Rock Stage Company. Aside from theatre and real estate, Sarah enjoys snowboarding, hiking with her dog, Charlie, listening to music, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.  Sarah looks forward to helping you find your dream home in the place she loves to be, the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains.
